About the Update for DreamBound Zombie..
Hello guys,
After thinking long enough, I will see the 1.6.5 update as the final version of the game. The game may have bugs here and there, and I made peace with it, because:
- software's limitations
I'm using Pixel Game Maker MV; it is a good game engine, and I'm really grateful I can build a playable game with this software, thanks to it's visual scripting. But this software's product sometime's can be buggy..
- my own programming skill limitations
I'm an artist, I do illustrations. However, programming.. it is a whole new world. I believe if I understand how to code, I might be able to avoid the bugs and deliver the game nicely.
*About the big update list on the DreamBound Zombie's page.. DreamBound Zombie is made with Ollie and Zomrades as the player in mind; as a gift for Ollie, and for the big, virtual yet warm community that reflects the best girl. With this, I think that it is best to create an entirely new project for this big 'update' plan (new characters, new stages, new mode, etc.), instead of making a huge change and addition to the DreamBound Zombie's project file. I tried to do the big change, and see that this is pretty much inefficient.
On another note, I'm also trying to make another Ollie-centric game, but this time a top-down shooter game. I got a good amount of nice constructive inputs on the game, and I will continue working on it later (soon... because Altersky is definitely not addicted with playing warframe). I also trying to learn C#, hoping that this will allow me to try to make a game with Unity engine.
